Educational Interfaces between Mathematics and Industry |

The International Council for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM) and the International Commission on Mathematical Instruction (ICMI) are running project of a joint ICMI/ICIAM Study on the theme “Educational Interfaces between Mathematics and Industry” (EIMI). For more than 20 years, ICMI has been involved in the mounting of ICMI Studies, the aim of which is to address issues or topics of particular importance in contemporary mathematics education. Each Study, conducted by an international team of leading scholars and practitioners in that domain, is built around an international conference and is directed towards the preparation of a published volume intended to promote and assist discussion and action at the international, regional or institutional level.
